Obi Explained in 10 Minutes

This is not an emotional statement, if the dictionary definition of intelligence “is the general mental capacity to learn, understand, reason, plan, solve problems, and adapt to new situations. It involves processing information to navigate environments effectively, encompassing memory, abstract thought, and creativity. Synonyms include reason, intellect, understanding, acumen, and mental capacity.” Merriam Webster dictionary. Then I concluded that Peter Obi is intelligent and resourceful, you are free to question my assertions. Some people think the first party that he joined was APGA, according to a popular APC politician, Olisa Metuh, the first party Peter joined was PDP, but he was mocked and left to join APGA. As daunting as the task was, through APGA he dislodged PDP from Anambra and became governor and APGA has been governing the state till date because of the solid foundation he left in place.

While in PDP he ran as VP to Atiku and from available results the duo defeated Buhari however, the election was rigged in favour of Buhari. Peter would not have run with Atiku if it was not the turn of the north.

In 2023, one of the reasons he left PDP was because the party refused to zone the presidential ticket to the south. He knows that if the ticket is not zoned to south, no southern politician stood the chance to become any major party candidate when any popular northern politician is in contest because of the population advantage the north has and strong ethnic and tribal division in Nigeria. Nyesom Wike who thought he could achieve that feat with money has not snapped out of that regret till date, he wished he was as decisive as peter.

As we are approaching 2027, the same scenario is playing out in the coalition because he cannot extract the same commitment from ADC as controlled by Atiku he has moved NDC. Obi would never contest in 2031, because he knows it would be the turn of the north.

Atiku on the other end has always contested without respecting this arrangement because he is from the north and understand this advantage, wondering who is now selfish except this is not definition of selfishness “describes someone concerned only with their own desires, welfare, or interests, often to the exclusion or disregard of others’ needs. It suggests a lack of consideration for others and is generally used as a disapproving term. Synonyms include self-centered, egocentric, egotistical, and self-seeking.” Collins dictionary. So it is Atiku that should support Obi not the other way round.
