The word “Jesus” was first mentioned in the new testament in Matthew 1:21, which practically means God saves. The name was made popular by the most influential figure in our world, so influential that his arrival in the world is being used as yardstick to measure time, so we have Before Christ(BC) and After Death of Christ(AD). Some even argue that such a person never existed, if he was an image of someone’s imagination then that creator/artist/philosopher deserves a Nobel Laurette price for her creativity.
This article is not aimed at theology but to magnify and propagate some worthy traits in this influencer’s life, which this writer thinks that anyone that aim at greatness, which probably has eluded them can copy.
- Start a cult: one of the first thing this great influencer did based on his story recorded in a book called Bible is to start a cult. A religious person reading this may not like my choice of words but a careful look into a dictionary for the definition of the world cult and what this legend did should quench such argument. A cult according to the dictionary “a relatively small group of people having beliefs or practices, especially relating to religion, that are regarded by others as strange or sinister or as imposing excessive control over members.” So if you want to be more successful than Jesus, start a cult and ensure that members of your cult are not more than 11 because once you introduce the 12th person into your inner caucus you have just accommodated a traitor who will betray you or the group. The number of players in a football team is 11, reason it is one of the most popular games in the world. Most games have even less than 11 members, therefore to be successful ensure you do not have more than 11 members in your team if not you would to have to deal with betrayals all the time and be distracted in your quest to dominate the world.
- Initiate all the members of your cult: this initiation is symbolic, does not necessarily mean evil or good, however the ritual is important. Come up with a ritual, it can be a vision or goal that they have to recite that guides the operations of the team or it may be as simple as dipping them in a river or making them drink from the same cup or sharing a single bread. Ensure there is a ritual that speaks to togetherness. “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.” Matthew 26:26
- Follow the devil: your devil may be a mentor or someone that knows where the secrets of wealth, innovation or abundance are located. Do not have holier than though attitude, follow anyone that knows the path that lead to your goal, be smart to ensure they have shown you those secrets before revolting. However, do not worship any man or allow yourself to be enslaved by any human. The Bible said the Jesus followed the Devil to the mouth top from where he showed him the world’s wealth if you want to live like Jesus you must follow the devil at some point in your life to understand how the world works. “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;” And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” Matthew 4:8-9
- Make friends with tax men and law enforcement officers: most of the people Jesus visited their houses are either tax collector or soldiers. Make friends with people around the corridor of power, you do not know when they can be useful to you.
- Womanize/be seductive: if you are a woman surround yourself with lots of male friends, most of the people always around Jesus even in death are young ladies no wonder he never lacked. it is easier for a lady to get favour from men and equally easy for a womanizer to get favour from ladies.
- Make outlandish promises: trying to woo his cult members, he promised to make them fishers men since they catch fish for a living. How do you fish for men, it looks bizarre but eventually they were able to build their own followings too and till date many have used the same trick to build various religious empires that have survived for generations.
